Enrolment options

The aim of this course is to expose students to the meaning of philosophy and a brief survey of its branches. While discussing its major branches, emphasis will be on Logic. The topics to be taught in this respect will include relevance of philosophy to human existence, discourse and Logical rules. Other subtopics will include arguments and evidence, fallacies, statements and sentences, laws of thought, rules of inference and deduction and analogical reasoning. The course will also provide valuable insights into the origin and content of traditional logic.
